Here’s how I do it:
I bill by the hour, including time spent picking up materials. I use an app that logs my hours to the minute. I have a trip charge for the first visit to your project.
I use ONDA Replay to record our initial conversation, which describes the scope of work and who is responsible for what. I share that Replay file with you And you can download ONDA Replay from the App Store (iPhones) or Google Play (Androd) It’s a “verbal agreement” we can both hear and agree with no muss and no fuss.
